Last Week it was Samoan Language Week and our Class Room 15 at 2.30 we had a taste of Samoa.There were 5 sections first one we went to had James and his mum teaching us about fresh pacific islander Coconut and that the 3 eyes looked like and eels face from this Samoan tale Sina and her eel.Then we moved to where Jerome and a Samoan girl in a Lovely Dress next to him where Earrings,Necklaces,and Bracelet's all made of coconuts the bags,purses,fans,where mad out of flax they showed us around the table where it had the things and we touched and they were very smooth.When we were finished me and Angelina and Hope lily who was in my group we moved to the next section
The next one we moved to was Matthew and Poe but while we were going I heard Beautiful music and saw good Dances with Lovely pacific Samoan Dresses on Girls.Any way when we got to our third Section we learned about Taro chips,how to peel taro,and that it is delious to eat it with fish and more.Then we moved to the Section where it had Mrs Schuster and Mamere we learnt about a cup of koko and tasted it, it tasted a bit bitter but hot,sweet and Delicious, we also heard about a story of koko.
Last section we went to had Harriet and Sherona they had traditional things to where like Bracelets,Necklaces,Earrings as well and they even had Bracelets that could fit little baby's the things had nice patterns and some had little beads on the earrings then after that the bell rang and the speaker went on.
